How to save a point cloud

I am new to CloudCompare (MacOS). I have managed to import a mesh and use 'Sample Points on Mesh' to make a point cloud. But how do save or export the Point Cloud.
I have tried Tools > Batch Export > Export Cloud Info
and
File > Save

But nothing happens. No dialog box appears.

So, how do I save or export the point cloud??
