Hi, I'm really new and green when it comes to CloudCompare. I am trying to bring in a string of XYZ geospatial points that represent the top of a pipeline along its route. I would like to portray the pipe as a 3D cylinder, the vertical "top" of which is anchored along each of the imported XYZ points. I suspect I convert the points to a polyline first but am flying a little blind here as I'm brand new to the interface, menus and plugins. Any help would be much appreciated!

Well, you can import your list of points as a polyline (simply load the file as a '.poly' file).

But then, I don't know how you can convert a polyline to a series of 3D cylinders (especially if you expect the cylinders to be properly connected to each other...).
